For a performance during the Falls Festival in Lome, Australia, yesterday, Solange wore a high-necked crop top and matching red culottes. The monochromatic look has a bit of a magic-trick effect: Standing up straight she could be wearing a turtlenecked dress that hits below the knee, then poof, she drops to the ground and ta-da, shorts! We admire the unexpected quality of high-waisted, pleated shorts in place of a skirt, as well as Solange’s “safety first” attitude when it comes to potential crotch shots.
