‘You Look … Fine,’ and Other Honest Holiday Greetings

Each holiday, birthday, and family reunion, the people who love us seem to hoist the same specific remarks at us regarding our appearance. Often these comments — infrequently complimentary, often invasive — are repeated each holiday, without fail. We polled a variety of women about what they hear from their kin on Christmas and reimagined them in the form of festive greeting cards.
