Last night in L.A., Gwyneth Paltrow attended Reese Witherspoon’s Hollywood Stands Up to Cancer event in a royal blue dress revealing a small, if confusing, patch of her upper torso. The ensemble, from David Koma’s spring 2014 collection, features a geometric top that emphasizes its construction: a bandeau layered with two straps that extend to the waist, all trimmed with black leather. All in all, the sleek fit, paired with minimal makeup and a nude lip, is lovely — and yet, while Gwyn’s no stranger to cutouts, that awkward peep of center rib is really just so distracting.
