Prabal Gurung released his first print ad campaign this morning — and it’s a pretty beautiful one. Shot by Daniel Jackson, the campaign features model Liya Kebede wearing a blue- and white-printed grand opera coat and an abstract strapless dress, hair wrapped in a head scarf, standing against a deep maroon wall. Alongside that striking picture is a black-and-white image of a burning metallic rose. Surely there’s some symbolism we’re missing here?
