Today is Valentine’s Day, which is, conveniently, also the release date for the second season of the Obama-endorsed Netflix series House of Cards. Last night at the premiere in L.A., Kate Mara — who plays the show’s ambitious, scheming political blogger, Zoe Barnes — showed up in a heavily sequined, olive-green shift dress from Prada’s spring 2014 collection. The intricately beaded piece featured a bra overlay as well as a healthy triangle of exposed cleavage. Taking a cue from Fashion Week’s nude runway faces, Mara finished the look with a slicked-down bob and minimal makeup.
