It’s Christina Hendricks’s birthday next week, and this lady has a superb theme-party idea in her back pocket. She described the potential event to Jimmy Fallon on The Tonight Show:
My friends and I had talked about going down to Palm Springs and having a caftans-and-casserole party. It was my friend Bo’s idea; he knows that I love a caftan. It’s what I wear at home all the time — it’s just my go-to thing … Then you just eat casseroles. Just put on some sunglasses.
Comfort food! Comfort clothes! Alliteration! It has everything you could want from a birthday party. What a marvelous plan.
