If you didn’t manage to get your hands on the custom Off-White jacket Sky Ferreira wears in her “I Blame Myself” video, take heart. Designer Virgil Abloh, who is also Kanye West’s creative director, is launching a women’s collection for fall 2014. The lineup, titled “I Only Smoke When I Drink,” is heavy on artfully ripped jeans and Perfecto jackets. (He summarizes his aesthetic to Style.com: “I just want chic, plus Air Force 1s.”) He also tells the site that his women’s collection was inspired not by specific movies or muses, but by places: “Chateau Marmont, Café Select, The Mercer [Hotel], [The] Westway, 1 Oak.” Presumably the women who hang out there also drop by Browns, Selfridges, Colette, and the Webster, where the line will be sold.
