
As one does, Stevie Nicks reports that she once tumbled into the Stevie Nicks–specific YouTube rabbit hole. That’s a notoriously difficult one to crawl out of — lined with slippery silken fabrics, a dearth of footholds, and whatnot. She told the Associated Press:
We went onto YouTube and we found all the songs that, somehow, were taken from my house or picked up or loaned out or whatever … and we went to Nashville (and recorded them). So they’re like all starting from like 1969 maybe? I call them my 24 karat gold songs.
But Nicks emerged, and she emerged with inspiration for a new album. How did you emerge from your Fleetwood YouTube fugue state?
