Lots of people want to look like Alexa Chung. If you’ve already completed the initial steps (taking pointers from her book, It; availing yourself of her YouTube eyeliner tutorial; hoarding her Madewell collection), you’ve graduated to the next level: Alexa Chung jeans. And overalls. And denim dresses. WWD has a story today about Chung’s collaboration with AG Adriano Goldschmied, a 20-piece capsule that will include all of the aforementioned items along with some T-shirts and what she describes as “groupie shorts.” (They’re … quite short.) “The collection is inherently the missing pieces of my dream denim wardrobe, which, as ever, is predominantly inspired by a late Sixties, early Seventies aesthetic,” Chung told the paper. Unsurprisingly, 19,000 people have already liked a preview posted on Chung’s Instagram account.
