Today at Dries Van Noten, makeup artist Peter Philips created a sophisticated take on the lip piercing by drawing a ring of gold down the center of each model’s lips. No models were pierced in the creation of this look. Done with a clean face, the look was subtly luxe, without looking tribal. The gilded strip was created with a mixture of MAC’s Mixing Medium and gold powder from Ben Nye. Make Up For Ever’s Aqua Liner in Diamond Gold was painted over the thin line for additional sparkle, Style.com reports.
