Today, the British Fashion Council announced its nominees for this year’s British Fashion Awards, and while the usual suspects are on the roll call — Cara Delevingne for Model of the Year, Christopher Bailey for menswear — there are plenty of new names in the mix, like Paula Gerbase’s minimalist line 1205 and up-and-coming menswear label Astrid Andersen. (The latter created a cutout crop top for men, which surely deserves an award.) The winners will be revealed at the ceremony, to be held on December 1 at the London Coliseum.
