The boxing-themed ad he lensed for Chanel’s fall collection was just the beginning. Now, the ever-unpredictable Karl Lagerfeld has graced us with a punching bag designed for Louis Vuitton that is “about $175,000,” according to T magazine. (Is price ambiguity the new “price upon request”?) The limited-edition bag — only 25 exist — comes with a logo-emblazoned mat, trunk, and pair of gloves. Good luck floating like a butterfly when you’re weighed down with all that gear. The pieces are part of Vuitton’s Celebrating Monogram project, which also includes designs by Frank Gehry, Cindy Sherman, and Rei Kawakubo, among others.
