Michelle Obama has never worn Oscar de la Renta. Whether that’s an implicit response to the designer’s multiple comments over the years about her wearing European designer’s wares or a personal style choice, we’ll never know. We’re not inside her mind! However, it is noteworthy that the First Lady wore this dress from the designer’s fall 2014 collection to a cocktail party for the Fashion Education Workshop she hosted at the White House yesterday.
