Rihanna’s River Island capsule line may now be consigned to the archives, but she could be wading back into the design world — this time in the buzzy athleisure space. The Daily News reports that she is close to signing a contract with Puma for more than a million dollars. She would be designing sneakers, as well as some clothing. More important, the deal would require her to wear the brand out and about — no Rita Ora–style sneaker adultery here — which, considering how influential her street style is, might be the most valuable part of the agreement.
