After her final day at work, a former county employee in Ohio was arrested for vandalizing her boss’s office with Silly String (purple), a mysterious white powder (still unidentified), and glitter. With this trifecta of potentially joyful party supplies, the currently unemployed woman ruined two desktop computers, a carpet, a scanner, her boss’s sweaters, and a printer (good riddance, I’m sure).
Let this serve as a reminder to all disgruntled and vengeful schemers: The use of glitter bombs will be tried in a formal court of law. Even though glitter vandalism sparkles with whimsy and glimmers with frivolity, there is not a mystical-celebration-parade judicial system to consider these crimes.
