In this season of the FX series Fargo, Kirsten Dunst takes on her most challenging role yet: a midwestern wife who is — wait for it — not Hollywood thin.
In order to accurately portray the character Peggy Blomquist, Dunst attempted to gain weight using the only tried-and-true method: eating a lot of pizza in bed.
“I just sat in my bed, watched Friday Night Lights and, like, ate,” Dunst told Jimmy Kimmel during an appearance on his show Monday night. “I was in Calgary … it was cold, so I ordered in a lot of pizza … grilled cheese. I just had different cheeses and breads together.”
One actress’s “gaining weight for a role” is another woman’s “typical Tuesday.”
