After the Weeknd showed up (with girlfriend Bella Hadid) in the front row of Alexander Wang’s show, it seemed like the spotlight-averse singer might be entering his Serious Fashion Guy phase. Today, Wang announced via a press release that the two are collaborating — a decision cooked up over Hooter’s wings at the after-party, perhaps? Their capsule line, a joint effort between Wang and the Weeknd’s brand, XO, will be called WANGXO (fair enough) and will re-create the custom pieces the musician is wearing on his the Madness arena tour, which kicked off last night in Toronto.
Expect pieces like T-shirts with zine-inspired graphics, and pants with cargo pockets — all the better to store the Weeknd-designed PAX singing vape, yet another collaboration that the singer announced today. The items will be available in the brand’s stores and online later this month, in case you have cash left over from last week’s Yeezy Season 1 madness.
