Ben Affleck recently got an absolutely hideous midlife-crisis tattoo on his back depicting a phoenix emerging from some ashes. But if you think you can blame his ex Jennifer Garner for that abomination, you are dead wrong.
Vanity Fair asked Garner about the tattoo in its newest issue, and she had the perfect response:
“You know what we would say in my hometown about that? ‘Bless his heart.’ A phoenix rising from the ashes. Am I the ashes in this scenario?” Garner says with a wink.
“I take umbrage. I refuse to be the ashes.”
