Unlike most of his fellow Republicans, Donald Trump isn’t afraid to acknowledge that Planned Parenthood provides important health services for millions of women across America. But exactly like his fellow Republicans, he’d also defund it.
At last night’s GOP debate, our nation’s foremost sentient wig tried to explain his complicated stance on Planned Parenthood: “I’m pro-life, I’m totally against abortion having to do with Planned Parenthood.” [Ugh, here we go.] “But millions and millions of women with cervical cancer and breast cancer are helped by Planned Parenthood.” [Oh wow. Some truth!] “So you can say whatever you want but they have millions of women going through Planned Parenthood that are helped greatly” [OMG I agree with Trump on something!] “And I wouldn’t fund it, I would defund it because of the abortion factor.” [Aaaaaand never mind.]
