The Council for Fashion Designers of America (CFDA) Fashion Awards is now an official Weinstein production — because Harvey Weinstein is behind basically every important production ever.
Variety reports that Weinstein will join the company’s executive VP Patrick Reardon and the CFDA’s Steven Kolb as the executive producers of the live event. Weinstein dropped one more name in a statement about his upcoming fashion endeavor (ahem, DVF):
“CFDA spotlights the best-of-the-best of the fashion industry. We’re thrilled to be joining Diane von Furstenberg, Steven Kolb and the entire CFDA team in bringing the work of the world’s top, most cutting-edge designers off the runways and to TV audiences.”
