At the Tokyo opening of Louis Vuitton’s exhibit “Volez, Voguez, Voyagez” on Thursday, Cate Blanchett was a real-life Cubist painting. Resembling a Modigliani or Picasso, her paneled dress by Nicolas Ghesquière unfurled like a series of brushstrokes: in black, creamy white, and canary yellow. The pink hair is gone, but she’s still unfailingly exquisite.
