It is the Koran. The formerly lapsed Catholic actress revealed that she is now studying Islam in an exclusive interview with The Sun. “I’m a very spiritual person and I’m really open to learning,” she said. “America has portrayed holding a Koran in such a different way to what it actually is.”
Lohan was photographed carrying a copy of the Islamic text on her way to court-ordered community service in New York last summer. She is still working on getting through it, however. “I’m not done reading it,” Lohan told the paper. “Do you know how long that would take? It takes so long.”
Lohan did not reveal whether her new fiancé has read the Koran or any other book.
