Look, I like posting pictures of daddy’s secret stash of Cayman cash on Insta just as much as the next heiress, but I have some bad news: doing so might get your parents into major trouble.
The Guardian reports that “these self-styled rich kids of Instagram are, often unwittingly, revealing their parents’ hidden assets and covert business dealings, providing evidence for investigators to freeze or seize assets worth tens of millions of pounds, and for criminals to defraud their families.”
So, rich kids, maybe take a note from your friend Barron and stick to Instagramming food.
