It appears that Shia LaBeouf is still way into his artistic phase. Not content with wearing a paper bag over his head, watching all his own movies in a dark theater for three days straight, and having a rat tail, LaBeouf has now set off hitchhiking for a month. (For art.)
Boulder Museum of Contemporary Art, the Finnish Institute in London, and Vice commissioned LaBeouf and his collaborators, Nastja Säde Rönkkö and Luke Turner, for this latest project, called #TAKEMEANYWHERE.
In #TAKEMEANYWHERE (not to be confused with previous LaBeouf projects #IAMSORRY and #ALLMYMOVIES), you can watch as the group’s road-trip progress is mapped out on this interactive site. Should you be so interested as to offer LaBeouf a ride from now until June 23, he’ll be tweeting out the trio’s coordinates regularly.
Pick him up! Take him anywhere! But don’t forget to pack road-trip snacks. Shia seems like a Combos guy, doesn’t he?
