
Next week, bipartisan members of Congress will read the entirety of the Stanford rape victim’s letter aloud on the House floor.
The special order is being sponsored by California Representative Jackie Speier, who, along with Texas representative Ted Poe, began reading excerpts from the letter to Congress on Thursday, officially putting the victim’s words into the congressional record.
This news come one day after Vice-President Joe Biden publicly commended the victim in an open letter.
