Since Raf Simons is out at Dior, and the brand has yet to announce his replacement, seeing the new Dior ads gives us hope that all is well at the famed fashion house. For their fall-winter 2017 collection campaign, Dior’s in-house directors, Serge Ruffieux and Lucie Meier, recruited stylist Carine Roitfeld, Australian model Julia Nobis, and famed fashion photographer Steven Meisel.
The dynamic photos showcase Nobis’s athleticism, letting viewers see the movement of the clothes. Is this a sign that the house is, like Nobis, leaping boldly into the future? Fingers crossed.
