Before Wednesday night, Tim Kaine was Hillary Clinton’s safe-but-sort-of-boring vice-presidential pick. Then, during his speech at the Democratic National Convention, he broke out his Donald Trump impression, and Democrats gained a father figure. With his corny impersonation and awkward segues, Tim Kaine (who, it should be noted, carries four harmonicas with him at all times) worked his way into the hearts and minds of Americans by proving he is the dad America needs.
Or, you know, uncle.
You were great, Tim. But remember: If you’re elected, you’ll have to fill some of the biggest dad shoes of all time.
