Adele, a professional bargain shopper with a $125 million net worth, had the embarrassing experience of having her credit card declined on a recent shopping trip to a San Jose H&M.
“I went to H&M and my card got declined. Oh my days, pretty embarrassing,” she confessed to her San Jose concert audience on Sunday night. “Nobody knew it was me, but I was mortified.”
