After Sophia Bush was harassed by a fellow passenger on a recent flight, she says she’s had enough of “creepy shit” from random men.
The actress posted an open letter on Twitter Friday night, addressing it to the “random dude on a plane” who made her “visibly uncomfortable.” The man stared at her, leaned in close when she grabbed something out of the overhead bin, and ignored all signs that she wanted to be left alone. She eventually switched seats, yet he continued to try to talk to her and watch her from his seat.
Bush wrote that the man seemed to feel entitled to harass her because he watches her show, Chicago PD. “You do not get to harass me, or any woman, because you think you pay our bills,” Bush wrote. “You don’t bro, I do.”
The actress signed the letter on behalf of “every woman on the planet” who is sick of this sort of behavior. Cue a few billion heads nodding in agreement.
