The Weeknd has a new haircut. It’s short and slightly angular, but most important: It no longer tenderly droops down his face like a flaccid penis.
He revealed the new look today on Instagram, along with the artwork for his upcoming album, Starboy. The inspiration behind the Weeknd’s former trademark hairstyle was never a secret. He was inspired by Jean-Michel Basquiat, telling Rolling Stone, “I want to be remembered as iconic and different.”
Different is one way to put it.
