For one woman, her Zara dress came with a huge faux paw — a dead mouse sewn into the dress’s hem. The New York Post reports that Greenwich native, Ms. Fiesel (not to be confused with Fievel) is suing the fast-fashion retailer for unspecific damages after contracting a “rodent-borne” illness from wearing a squeaky-clean garment.
The horror story began when Fiesel noticed her dress had a “pungent” odor, and a loose string that kept brushing against her leg. “She ran her hand over the hem of the dress … and suddenly realized that it was not a string that was rubbing against her leg, but was instead a leg rubbing against her leg.” She also developed a rash.
