If Reformation is the floral dress brand of choice for 20-somethings and Batsheva is the one for fashion addicts, L.A.-based label Dôen is the one for women would be the ones who chose Jane Birkin over Bianca Jagger, horses over dogs, and cute babies above all else. Needless to say, Dôen has a large following, and it just partnered with Net-a-Porter, the first retailer to carry its pretty pretty dresses.
Dôen’s bread-and-butter are tiny floral prints and gentle, flowing silhouettes. The 15 pieces available on Net-a-Porter include blouses with puffy sleeves (perfect to pair with overalls) and sweeping floral dresses that aren’t full-on Laura Ingalls Wilder. Three children’s pieces will launch the first week in May, too. It’s not wildly expensive — pieces start at $138 and go up to $305. Whatever your early spring/summer plans are, they’d likely match with a boho maxi dress.
