Kim Kardashian wanted to keep things a bit more simple for the arrival of her and Kanye West’s fourth child, a baby boy who is being born via surrogate. On Saturday, rather than host a fourth extravagant baby shower, Kim decided to keep things as stress-free as possible by planning a celebration all around meditation and relaxation.
Kim hosted the party at her home, and gave all of the guests their own pair of baby-blue Yeezy slides, and invited them to take part in a sound bath, and offered a variety of CBD-infused treats, according to People.
“So, because I’m freaking out and the baby is coming in, like, two weeks, I thought what better way to celebrate than to have a little CBD,” Kardashian explained to her guests. Her sister Kourtney and her mom, Kris, were in attendance, as well as Chrissy Teigen, Paris Hilton, Larsa Pippen, and Jen Atkin.
The party was decorated with calming blue decorations, and trays of CBD drops were laid out. Guests could leave suggestions on a “Name Game” board for the newest edition to the Kardashian-West family.
“I thought it was kind of ridiculous to have a fourth baby shower,” Kardashian explained. “But I thought I’m freaking the fuck out having a fourth kid. So everyone have a puff and put on some oil.”
Kim was told E! News that the baby shower was also an opportunity to introduce the new member of the family to her other three children, North, Saint, and Chicago.
“This year, because I am freaking out so much, I just want a Zen-like CBD-themed baby shower,” Kim said to E! News about the plans for her party. “I just want massages, I want to do like a tea ceremony with crystals, and we’re going to have a drink at this baby shower — we’re not pregnant.”
