Exactly one month ago today — how time flies! — Kim Kardashian West and Kanye West welcomed their fourth child: a baby boy named Psalm West, who was born via surrogate. And on Monday, the proud mother celebrated her youngest child’s one-month birthday with a present for us all. By that we mean, she shared the first full image of her new son on Instagram and Twitter, of course.
Accompanied only by the caption “Psalm Ye,” Kardashian West shared an adorable close-up image showing her young son peacefully sleeping in what looks to be a very comfy onesie, and laying on top of a blanket:
This picture was the first time the general public got to see the cute baby’s face close-up. However, it was not the first glimpse we’ve had of young Psalm; one week after his birth, Kardashian shared a screenshot of a text exchange with her husband that included a picture of the baby sleeping (but from afar, and in a crib), as well as a psalm (fitting!) written by his father: “Beautiful Mother’s Day / With the arrival of our fourth child / We are blessed beyond measure / We have everything we need.”
On June 10, little Psalm was born into the royal family of Calabasas, joining his older siblings North (age 5), Saint (age 3), and Chicago (1). Though he is the fourth child for Kardashian and West, Psalm is also their second born via surrogate, as the reality star and entrepreneur has been open about the dangerous complications she suffered during her first two pregnancies.
