Thomas Markle, the estranged father of Meghan Markle and a man so desperate for good press that he once staged cute paparazzi photos of himself, has a bone to pick with the Lifetime network. Or, more specifically, with the new Lifetime film Harry & Meghan: Becoming Royal, which depicts Markle as a bumbling fool who upsets his daughter enough to get his invite revoked to the royal wedding. (You might recall that in real life, Markle ultimately didn’t attend the wedding due to heart surgery — although there’s many rumors that speak to the contrary.) In a new interview with his BFFs at TMZ, Markle said he’s “incredibly disappointed†in how the film portrays his relationship with his daughter, equating the narrative to “dumb fiction†that “personally attacks†him, even though he has frequently attacked the royal family over the past year. We’d say karma’s a bitch, but we’re too busy looking at baby Archie pics.
