Gigi Hadid and Zayn Malik, two uncommonly beautiful people who sometimes date and sometimes don’t, may have an uncommonly beautiful baby on the way: On Tuesday, TMZ reported that Gigi is 20 weeks pregnant, and her former One Direction singer boyfriend is the father. The gossip site credits “family sources” for this information, though it does not provide pics or any other evidence as confirmation. The following day, the outlet followed up with even more news: a claim that the baby’s sex is female.
Gigi and Zayn have been together off and on since 2015, having most recently rekindled their relationship sometime in December 2019, according to E! Before that, they officially broke up in March 2018, although that may not have been a definitive split, to judge by the cuddly photos of the couple that subsequently surfaced on Hadid’s Instagram. Whatever was going on there reportedly came to a full stop by January 2019, though, clearing the way for the supermodel to date that guy from the Bachelorette for a hot second. That whirlwind romance ended after just a few weeks, and despite the Tyler Cameron interlude, Zigi was back on by the time Malik turned 27 in January. And now possibly with a little Zigi en route!
Based on photos from Gigi’s 25th-birthday party last week, the couple would appear to be isolating at the Hadid’s Pennsylvania farm with Gigi’s sister Bella and their mom. (Her birthday balloons were fastened to pink ribbons, sparking theories that it doubled as a gender-reveal party. Sure, why not.) So, provided TMZ’s information is correct, congrats to these two crazy kids, their spawn, and their spawn’s incredible cheekbones. We’re all very proud.
