A big day for Chrissy Teigen, who is about to get her boobs out. A very freeing feeling, I think we can all agree.
The cookbook author and television justice made this exciting announcement on Tuesday evening. She apparently felt compelled to share after a video she’d tweeted hours earlier, in which she giddily submits to a thorough nasal swabbing, kicked up a small fracas. Although anyone in Los Angeles, where Teigen lives, can get tested for the coronavirus, whether or not they have symptoms, some people seemed to think the celeb was abusing her privilege. To which Teigen replied that, in addition to her behavior being allowed, she is “also having surgery and had to” get tested. What surgery, you ask? Boobs, baby.
“I’m getting my boobs out!” Teigen wrote in the caption of an Instagram post. “They’ve been great to me for many years but I’m just over it. I’d like to be able to zip a dress in my size, lay on my belly with pure comfort! No biggie! So don’t worry about me! All good.”
Oh, I’m sorry, had you been thinking all this time that Teigen was simply letting her breasts breathe? No, no no no no. (Although maybe that, too; I would have no way of knowing.) She is having her implants removed. In the March issue of Glamour UK, the 34-year-old model explained that she had her boobs done at age 20, “for a swimsuit thing. I thought, if I’m going to be posing, laid on my back, I want them to be perky!”
“But then you have babies and they fill up with milk and deflate and now I am screwed,” she added. “I want them out.”
And now, she will have her way. She will also “still have boobs” after the procedure, “they’ll just be pure fat,” she clarified. “Which is all a tit is in the first place. A dumb, miraculous bag of fat.”
Beautiful.
