Late Wednesday night, communication planet Mercury stations retrograde in emotional Cancer, where it will stay for about a month. During this time, misunderstandings and confusion can abound, so do your best to think before you speak, and try to choose your words with intention. On Saturday, the sun enters Cancer, too, ushering in a season of deep feeling, a season to tend to your inner world as much as the world outside. Finally, the week ends with a solar eclipse in Cancer late on Saturday night. Eclipses always mark moments of intense turmoil and change, moments of great possibility. Think of this one in Cancer as a doorway into something utterly new: new modes of feeling, new modes of caring for one another.

Weekly Horoscope Aries

Aries Weekly Horoscope

This week, the people you love might surprise you. Their previously hidden emotions — their anger, their sadness, their passion — might suddenly burst forward with an intensity you would never have predicted. This week, your own feelings might surprise you, too. You might feel freshly injured by something you thought was long past, or newly moved by events that happened years ago. You don’t have to resolve all these feelings at once; you don’t have to repair every fracture instantly. This is a week for calling on all your bright courage — for looking directly at the truth, for holding onto it as you move into the future.

Weekly Horoscope Taurus

Taurus Weekly Horoscope

This is a week for thinking about ways to live in keeping with your values and make your love tangible. It’s a week for thinking about how you might give and receive care in a dangerous world. Compared to mass actions, talking about care can sometimes seem less relevant, like it’s a soft and easy secondary concern. But care, as much as confrontation, is at the heart of everything right now. This is a week for doing what you can to make your world better, to make your care count.

Weekly Horoscope Gemini

Gemini Weekly Horoscope

Most of the time, the future can feel hazy and distant — an abstraction, a hypothetical, something that has to be imagined because it’s too far away to be seen. This week, though, the future might seem suddenly, unbearably near, so close you could open your front door and walk right out into it. It can be strangely heartbreaking to be this close; it brings with it a sense of risk, the fear that a beautiful new reality is ours to lose. But don’t worry so much that you talk yourself out of trying. Your job is just to take every small action you can to make it easier for a better world to arrive.

Weekly Horoscope Cancer

Cancer Weekly Horoscope

Sometimes, it can feel unfair that this is the time you were born into — this time of pain and injustice and cruelty. This week, though, you might get flashes of a different feeling— a sense that you were meant to be here right now. This week, you might feel like maybe all of your experiences have led you here — that you’re powerful, that you have something important to offer, that the world needs you, that things can really get better if we all try our best.

Weekly Horoscope Leo

Leo Weekly Horoscope

This week, you may feel confidence and joy as you watch the people around you standing and fighting and asserting their right to something better. But beneath that, you might also feel a lurking fear that in spite of the beauty and the courage you’ve witnessed, this moment in history won’t actually change anything, and that all the suffering and cruelty will continue on as usual. This week, though, try to let your hope outweigh the fear of loss. Try to make yourself believe that in spite of all its risks, the struggle is worth it — because it is.

Weekly Horoscope Virgo

Virgo Weekly Horoscope

This is a week to live with curiosity, a week to look out at the world with an open heart and a willingness to be changed by what you find. This means, of course, that you might realize you were wrong. It means that you may suddenly see, with a fresh clarity, all the gaps in your knowledge, all the holes in your carefully constructed ideas about the world. It might mean that the foundations on which you’ve built your life will be shaken, but you won’t be destroyed. There’s so much sweetness waiting for you if you can just let yourself be changed.

Weekly Horoscope Libra

Libra Weekly Horoscope

This week, you might feel the world remaking itself all around you; you might feel the balance of the universe shifting under your feet. It can feel like a heavy responsibility to be worthy of these times. But just because you have a part to play in the world’s unmaking and remaking, that doesn’t mean your human self must fade gracefully into the background. It’s still important for you to honor your own needs and desires, even while history is happening all around you.

Weekly Horoscope Scorpio

Scorpio Weekly Horoscope

So much this week might feel new this week that even you, someone who is so unafraid of darkness, might start longing for a return to what is familiar. You might start yearning, paradoxically, for the types of suffering that you already know how to navigate. You can rest, this week, but don’t retreat. Don’t start wishing the world back to normal. These days might feel strange and fragile, but they promise unimagined beauty on the other side if you’re just willing to keep going.

Weekly Horoscope Sagittarius

Sagittarius Weekly Horoscope

This week, you might find yourself rethinking your life: replaying old moments, and fearing that you’ve been unethical or weak or selfish. Or you might find yourself examining your current life and fearing that you’ve slipped into laziness or apathy, that you’ve fallen short of your own ideals. In these moments, try to be generous with yourself — you don’t have to be perfect all the time. And if you’ve failed, if you’ve made mistakes, you can still become the person you try to be; you can live the life you dream of. It isn’t too late.

Weekly Horoscope Capricorn

Capricorn Weekly Horoscope

Sometimes shame can seem like a motivator — like a push to become better or braver, to turn away from falsely easy answers. But really, shame just weighs you down. It makes it harder and harder to move or change. It’s difficult to reckon with your own history, but it’s work worth doing this week. You can acknowledge difficult truths without being destroyed by them. You can trust that your honesty, your integrity, and your willingness to do the hard work will eventually lead you to the place you need to be.

Weekly Horoscope Aquarius

Aquarius Weekly Horoscope

This is a moment in time when the old rules no longer have their old strength. There’s a wild kind of joy in this — you’re accustomed, after all, to flouting the rules — but it can leave you feeling unmoored, too. The old structures were restrictive, but they gave you something to define yourself against; it’s strange to look out at such a wide and untested range of possibilities. It’s important, this week, not to limit yourself or your imagination. There’s so much beauty that has suddenly become not just possible, but realistic. There’s so much change that can be made real if you want it.

Weekly Horoscope Pisces

Pisces Weekly Horoscope

This week, it can feel as though we’re about to reach the very edges of the known world — the end of the map, the outer limits of anything you’ve ever known or imagined. And what happens then? Your job, this week, is to keep up your courage in the face of the unknown. Your job is to prepare yourself to press onward, even when you don’t know what’s next. Don’t return to the familiar inadequacies of the world as it was It’s crucial to believe that, beyond the realm of what you know, there’s something much better, something worth seeking, something worth waiting for.
