What’s more of a flex than slipping your foot into a luxurious shearling boot? Wearing shearling on the outside of your boots, for everyone to see. This pair by Dior, styled for the fall 2020 runway with fishnet socks and a plaid miniskirt, says, Look at how warm and comfortable I am. With a gum sole and gold-buckle detail, the boots imply that the wearer is likely being ferried around in a town car and doesn’t have to fuss with tights or worry about getting their shoes splashed with dirty slush. And the price tag suggests as much. Must be nice!
