Spring brings many wonderful things: sunshine, flowers, extra hours of daylight. But it also brings blisters. After months of padding around in winter socks and shearling Birkenstocks, slipping on a pair of ballet flats or loafers can feel liberating — for about 20 minutes, until your feet inevitably start to scream at you. This year, a seasonal shoe transition might come as even more of a shock to the system, seeing as so many of us have been walking around barefoot in our apartments. But it’s time for a change. These pink Prada pumps (above) offer a fresh start, and since their “broken” kitten heel is so tiny, they probably won’t destroy your feet. The pointy shape and rubber sole give them some attitude, but the bubblegum pink with a handmade rose embellishment — a take on the brand’s signature triangle logo — make them as girlie as they are sporty. All without sacrificing (too much) comfort.
