Because most awards shows have had to take place remotely this year, with celebrities tuning in in from home, the red carpet has gone virtual as well. But that hasn’t stopped celebrities from dressing up. Last night at the 2021 Screen Actors Guild (SAG) Awards, stars Zoomed from their couches in head-to-toe luxury looks. To ensure that viewers at home could see their outfits below the waist, they staged photo shoots beforehand in their living rooms, in their backyards, and by the pool. Kerry Washington even got in her pool.
Last year, celebrities at the SAG Awards looked remarkably hot. (Ahem Brad Pitt). But on Sunday night, everyone looked like themselves, which is arguably even hotter. Daniel Kaluuya, for example, seemed cool and comfortable in a pair of purple silk Louis Vuitton pajamas. Glenn Close wore a flowing Oscar de la Renta gown. And Dan Levy showed off his custom oversized suit by the Row.
