Nick Cannon’s plan to re-create Drake’s album cover is rapidly coming to fruition. Cannon recently welcomed a new child with model Bre Tiesi, bringing his total offspring count to eight. The baby, whom Cannon referred to as Legendary in a video of the birth, arrived on June 28, and on Monday Tiesi shared the news along with details of the birth in a new Instagram post and YouTube video.
“I did it,” Tiesi wrote under an Instagram carousel of photos taken during her home birth. In an 11-minute birth vlog posted to her YouTube page, she called the experience “humbling / limit pushing yet awakening and completely empowering.” She thanked her “amazing partner,” Cannon, who appears in a few of the photos. In the video, Cannon seems to reveal the baby’s name, calling him “Legendary” while trying to get his attention.
Legendary is the newest member of Cannon’s rapidly growing brood. Legendary’s siblings include Roc and Roe, whom Cannon had with Mariah Carey; Golden and Powerful Queen, the son and daughter of Cannon and Brittany Bell; and twins Zillion Heir and Zion Mixolydian, whose mother, Abby De La Rosa, is rumored to be giving birth to a third child with Cannon. Cannon also lost Zen, his 5-month-old son with Alyssa Scott, in December.
Though Cannon briefly floated the ideas of celibacy and a vasectomy, he quickly abandoned both endeavors. It’s not entirely clear how the mothers of Cannon’s various children feel about his impressive fertility, though he recently composed a freestyle rap that included the lyrics: “All of my children will always be friends / Even if they mamas is not in agreeance.” Tiesi seems to be on the same page, having recently predicted that “the kids are going to be super close.” Congratulations to these new parents! I hope whoever handles Nick Cannon’s schedule gets a vacation soon.
