The last we heard of Bradley Cooper’s romantic life, the actor was spotted grabbing bagels in the Hamptons with Huma Abedin, whom he has been reportedly dating after mutual friend and Vogue editor Anna Wintour set them up in one of the most unexpected couplings of the summer. Even as Cooper and Abedin were seen canoodling in bagel lines, representatives for the actor maintained the two were just “good friends,” a pronouncement I initially scoffed at. But now that the actor and his ex, the model Irina Shayk, have apparently reunited for a tropical vacation, I’m not so sure.
Over the weekend, Shayk — who recently came under fire for allegedly embedding a Russian-nationalist symbol in a potato-salad Instagram Story — posted a carousel of photos of said vacation, in which the model can be seen lounging on the sand next to a massive pig and swimming with a couple of smaller pigs. Later in the carousel, Shayk and B. Coops stand side by side in a hut on the beach, Shayk rests her head on the actor’s shoulder as he delivers water to thirsty piglets. Behold:
Shayk, 36, and Cooper, 47, started dating in 2015. They welcomed a daughter, Lea de Seine, in 2017, before eventually separating in 2019. The two were notoriously private about their relationship, with Us Weekly reporting that they remained “on healthy terms” following their split and were “better off as friends.”
Shayk’s Instagram carousel, which also contains a photo of the model lying in the middle of a giant sand heart as well as an image of her and Cooper’s legs brushing against each other’s as they stand on a pier, swarmed by tiny sharks, suggests they remain on very healthy terms indeed. People reports that Abedin and Cooper have been “quietly seeing each other for months,” but this sure smells like a reunion, no? Someone tell Wintour.
