Julia Fox has a message for the beauty industry: Stop marketing skin care as “anti-aging” — or else. The actor and woman responsible for bringing back extreme low-rise pants is fed up with being sold the fantasy that to be eternally young is good, and in a recent TikTok video, she even went so far as to say that she’d sue the next brand touting anything “anti-aging.”

“Just to let you guys know, aging is fully in — like fully,” Fox declared in a video uploaded over the weekend. “Dirty girl, ugly, not wearing clothes that fit your body type — just fully wearing anything you want — all those things are in.” She continued, “And if I see another product that says ‘anti-aging’ on the label, I’m suing. I’m going to sue because I’m gonna age regardless of if I put the fucking $500 serum on my face. And you all fucking know it, and we fucking know it, so let’s stop lying to ourselves. Getting older is hot.” Hell hath no fury like a 32-year-old woman in Hollywood who may or may not have paid $500 for an elixir claiming to deliver eternal youth.

After someone in the comments pointed out the irony of a 30-something preaching about aging, Fox agreed. “Thirty is not old,” she said in a response video. “But I literally cried on my 27th birthday because I could no longer say ‘mid-20s.’ I’d officially be in my late 20s. So, this is how deep this shit is for women.” She also clarified that in the entertainment industry, 30 is “considered old” for women. Fox followed up with another video, saying she yelled at friends who tried to celebrate with her and instead stayed in bed all day with her friend Harmony, who has since passed away. “She’s not even going to have the privilege of getting older,” she reflected. “We deny ourselves these milestones for what?”

This is just the latest installment of Fox’s brutal-honesty era. During a recent appearance on Emily Ratajkowski’s High Low podcast, the actor opened up about how she feels about sex. “Sex for me always has been one-sided, but I think that all women can say that,” she said. “So, it’s like, if I don’t really need anything from you, I don’t see the point.” She added that sex wasn’t “thrilling” and she could “go without it.”
