Is Jack Harlow the king of manifesting? Earlier this year, in a song titled “Dua Lipa,” Harlow said he wanted to “do more with her than do a feature.” Now, “Page Six” reports that the two are dating.
“Page Six” claims the musicians met at the Variety Hitmakers Brunch in November, and that Harlow traveled to New York to meet Lipa after her Z100 Jingle Ball appearance on Friday. The next day, the two were reportedly seen arriving at the same restaurant in the Meatpacking District for lunch.
Back in May, Harlow told The Breakfast Club hosts Angela Yee, DJ Envy, and Charlamagne tha God that he had FaceTimed Lipa to ask if he could use her name for his song. “I wanted to get her blessing,” he said, adding that he “didn’t want her to be blindsided by that or feel like creeped out or anything.”
He said that if she had hated the song, it wouldn’t have been released. “She was just kinda thrown off and she just kinda let it go,” he said. As recently as October, Lipa was rumored to be dating comedian and former Daily Show host Trevor Noah, after the two were photographed having a cozy dinner in New York, though People later reported they were just friends. And while the internet got a kick out of seeing Harlow shoot his shot with Saweetie on the BET red carpet in 2021, he has not been publicly linked to any other stars recently.
This spring, when Charlamagne asked Harlow if Dua was a woman he “fancied,” Harlow said he “admired her.” Excuse me while I go write a song called “Jason Momoa,” about a man I admire.
