Over the weekend, actors Jonathan Majors and Meagan Good were spotted together boarding a flight from New York City to L.A. Earlier in May, TMZ reported that Majors, whose star turn in Lovecraft Country earned him roles in Da 5 Bloods, the Creed franchise, and Ant-Man, had started dating Good in “the last several weeks.” One witness claimed to have seen them at the Los Angeles Alamo Drafthouse sometime this month, but they weren’t photographed together until this past weekend, when they were seen getting food from a buffet and holding hands on the tarmac. Good, who is best known for roles in Cousin Skeeter, Stomp the Yard, and Think Like a Man, recently divorced film producer DeVon Franklin.
It seems like the relationship may be moving fast. Three days after arriving in L.A., the actors were spotted having dinner at Red Lobster with Good’s mom and sister, per TMZ. Rumors about Good and Majors’s relationship started two months after Majors was briefly taken into custody in New York City following what the NYPD called a “domestic dispute” with a 30-year-old woman. According to police reports, the woman was taken to the hospital after Majors put his hand on her neck and hit her in the face. In one complaint, the woman claims that Majors twisted her right arm, hit her, and pushed her into a car, resulting in a “laceration” behind her ear.
Majors, who has since been dropped by his talent agency and PR firm, has consistently denied the allegations through his lawyer, Priya Chaudhry, who recently called the case a “witch hunt” and claims to have evidence that the woman actually assaulted Majors. He’s expected to appear in court on June 13 for ongoing criminal-assault charges from the Manhattan DA. Maybe he’s hoping this relationship news will help you forget about all that?
