Succession might have ended before we got to meet Shiv Roy’s baby, but in real life, Sarah Snook is now a mom. On Monday, Snook shared that she recently gave birth to her first child with her husband, comedian Dave Lawson. In a photo posted a day after the show’s finale aired, the top of her baby’s head is visible against a TV queued up to watch Succession in the background.
“I just watched the final episode of the final season of something that has changed my life,” she wrote in the caption. “And now, my life has changed again. Thank you for all the love and support.”
Snook also used the post to say good-bye to the Succession cast and crew, writing, “It breaks my heart that it is all over” and that she was “grateful” and “blessed” to have worked on the show.
The Australian actress revealed she was pregnant at the season-four premiere of Succession in March. She told Australian Vogue that she and Lawson have been “best mates” since 2014; they married in a backyard ceremony in 2021. Congratulations to the new parents, who, thankfully, have no intention of taking parenting advice from the Roy family, Snook said earlier this year.
