Michelle Yeoh is married! After being engaged for 19 years, the actress and Jean Todt, the former CEO of Ferrari, tied the knot in Geneva on Thursday, according to People.
Yeoh, 60, and Todt, 77, met in Shanghai in 2004 and got engaged less than two months later, according to a note from the couple to their wedding guests, shared on Instagram by former Ferrari Formula 1 driver Felipe Massa. “Today after 6992 days on 27th July 2023 in Geneva, surrounded by loving family and friends, we are so happy to celebrate this special moment together!” the note read.
Massa shared a carousel of photos with the couple and their friends at the intimate gathering on Thursday. Yeoh wore two outfits to celebrate the occasion — a white button-down tucked into a white skirt with tassels and a lace beige corseted gown, along with the perfect accessory: her Oscar.
Yeoh made history earlier this year when she won the Best Actress Academy Award for her performance in Everything Everywhere All at Once, making her the first Asian woman to take home the prize. Congrats to the happy couple!
