Alec Baldwin is a father to eight children and recently became a grandfather — and apparently, if he had his way, he would keep procreating. In a new interview with People, Hilaria Baldwin said that her husband — who is 66 — is “always asking me for more kids.”
“Don’t judge me,” Alec told the reporter. Though he went on to claim, “I don’t really want one,” he explained that “every now and then, when the baby gets older and grows up to be about 2,” he looks at Hilaria and says, “Time to have another.”
Alec and Hilaria are already parents to seven kids under the age of 11: Carmen, Rafael, Leonardo, Romeo, Eduardo, Marilu, and Ilaria — all of whom are set to star in their upcoming TLC series, The Baldwins, which premieres later this month. Alec also has a daughter, Ireland, from his previous marriage. She gave birth to her first child in 2023.
For her part, Hilaria, who is 41, has previously said the couple is done having kids. Talking to People, she said that while her kids are very cute, “my body’s really tired.” Then again, an eighth baby on the way would make a promising reality TV story line.
