Even though it’s probably going to be banned in a few days, there is still fun to be had on TikTok. Just look at former Disney Channel stars Josie Totah and Karan Brar. On Monday, Totah posted a video of her and her Jessie co-star sharing a passionate kiss, leading all the young people on the app to believe that you really could find love in a hopeless place (a Disney soundstage).
Unfortunately for Gen Z, they really can’t have anything. Totah cleared things up shortly after the video had gone viral, breathlessly telling her followers, “It was a joke!” She deleted the original video, but her clarification post has nearly 7 million views.

Despite her insistence that the kiss was just for fun, some TikTok commenters are not inclined to believe Totah. “That did NOTT look like a joke,” wrote one commenter. “Girl anyway when the wedding,” wrote another. The top comment on the post comes from another Jessie co-star, Skai Jackson, who wrote, “IDK BABESSS😂😭 jp.” But is she just playing? Were they just playing? All I know is that Totah is 23, the perfect age to be kissing your friends just for fun. More power to her!
